The mission of the Buffalo Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is to further the business analysis profession by providing regular EDUCATIONAL sessions, formal TRAINING and MENTORING, and NETWORKING opportunities!
An analyst works as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems. The business analyst understands business problems and opportunities and recommends SOLUTIONS. Many roles play the part of a Business Analyst including Project Managers, Systems Analysts, Product Owners, Enterprise Analysts, Enterprise and Solution Architects, and many more. The Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK), the definitive guide and the internationally recognized standard for the business analysis profession, describes common activities, tasks and deliverables of the analysis field.
